Automated Patient Appointment Management - Web application with IOT

Automated Patient Appointment Management - Web application with IOT

The medical sector in the world has made a tremendous progress in the past decade so is the education sector this sectors can work together to ensure the wellbeing of people.  After paying a closer look to the challenges faced by patient when have appointment from doctor,  we thought how we can create an system that can help in reducing the risks when missing the appointment given by doctor and reduce time taken when waiting for receptionist by using card you tap card reader and get check as fast as possible. This system will help patient to preserve their health by reminding them about when they have an appointment from a doctor, so that they will not miss it and reminding them about their schedules with doctors. The current system has a number of problems, where the patient have to wait long for receptionist and it take time to register patient one by one according to their names. Some patient miss their appointment when they forget about the appointment, some time because of their age, their job or other stressful work. The doctor do not get medical history when patient forget the medical book which can help when giving new medicine, for the doctor can base on the previous medicine and change  medicine according to what it changed to patient’s health.

Through our system, we will help patient to remember the time for appointment. When the appointment have only one day remaining to reach the appointment, a patient will get message to remind him/her about the appointment. By using provided card, the patient will easily get record in order to get medicine at the hospital. This system will help the doctor to follow the previous medicine when giving new medicine to the patient, for the record will be easily recorded in the system and the doctor have some access to the system to update some information on the system.
