HW-837 GUVA-S12SD UV Detection Ultraviolet Intensity Light Sensor

RWF 15,000.00

The HW-837 GUVA-S12SD UV Detection Ultraviolet Intensity Light Sensor is a sensor module designed to detect ultraviolet (UV) light, specifically UV-A light, with a wavelength range of 240-370nm. It is based on the GUVA-S12SD UV sensor, which is a low-cost, highly sensitive, and reliable device for measuring UV light intensity. The sensor outputs an analog signal that is proportional to the detected UV light intensity, making it suitable for applications like UV exposure monitoring, UV sterilization, and environmental sensing. The module is easy to interface with microcontrollers like Arduino or ESP32, and it operates on a voltage range of 3.3V to 5V. Its compact design and cost-effectiveness make it an excellent choice for DIY projects, scientific experiments, and various industrial applications requiring UV monitoring.

Product Description

It uses a UV photodiode, which can detect the 240-370nm range of light (which covers UVB and most of UVA spectrum). The signal from the photodiode is very small level, in the nano-ampere level, hence an opamp to amplify the signal to a more Manageable volt-level.
