The MAX30102 Heart Rate Oxygen Pulse Sensor offers high-precision measurements of both heart rate and blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) through its integrated optical sensors. With its combination of red and infrared LEDs, it emits light into the skin, while the photodetector measures the reflected light to determine the amount of oxygen in the blood.   • Pin description

  • VIN: main power supply input, 1.8V-5V

  • 3-bit pad: select the pull-up level of the bus, depending on the pin master voltage, optional 1.8V terminal or 3.3V terminal (this terminal contains 3.3V and above)

  • SCL: connect to the 2C bus clock

  • SDA: connected to the 12C bus data

  • INT: MAX30102 chip interrupt pin

  • RD: MAX30102 chip RED LED ground terminal, generally not connected to

  • IRD: MAX30102 chip IR LED ground terminal, generally do not connect

  • GND: ground wire
