Product Description


A TDA2030 2.1-channel amplifier board is an affordable, entry-level audio circuit commonly used to power budget home theater systems, multimedia desktop speakers, and DIY audio electronics projects. It utilizes three individual TDA2030/TDA2030A integrated circuit (IC) chips to separate the audio signals: two chips deliver stereo sound to the left and right satellite channels, while the third chip operates alongside a low-pass filter to power a dedicated subwoofer.

    • Output Power: Generally delivers a total of 54W to 60W.



        • Left/Right Channels: 15W + 15W up to 18W + 18W.

        • Subwoofer Channel: 18W to 30W. 





    • Power Supply Requirement: Operates on dual AC voltage, typically 12V-0-12V AC or 15V-0-15V AC. It requires a step-down transformer supplying at least 3A to 4A of current for optimal bass delivery.  

    • Pre-amplifier Chipset: Often integrates a JRC4558 or NE5532 operational amplifier to act as a low-pass filter for the subwoofer. 

    • Frequency Response:



        • Full-Range Satellites: 20Hz – 2kHz.

        • Subwoofer: 20Hz – 250Hz.
