Among IoT initiatives, home automation is probably the most discussed. The goal of IoT-based home automation projects is to remotely operate household equipment and objects. A touch-based home automation system is used in this Internet of Things project. This project's components include a WiFi connection, a microcontroller from the AVR family, and input pins with built-in touch sensing.
An LCD panel shows the system status while the microcontroller is integrated with the WiFi modem to receive commands from the user via the Internet. The microcontroller executes commands to operate the load appropriately and display the system status on an LCD screen after receiving them.
