How It Works

The Smart Traffic Management System operates by integrating traffic sensors, NodeMCU ESP8266, and LED warning lights to dynamically manage traffic flow. The system works as follows:

  • The traffic sensors detect the presence of vehicles and send signals to the NodeMCU ESP8266 board.
  • The NodeMCU ESP8266 board processes the sensor data and controls the LED warning lights accordingly.
  • When an emergency vehicle is detected, the system activates a green warning light to alert other vehicles and pedestrians.
  • The system can also detect traffic violators, such as vehicles running red lights, and alert the authorities.

Key features of the system include real-time traffic monitoring, dynamic traffic signal control, and emergency vehicle prioritization.
